Foretop Boats has been formed in 2009 by Capt. Maneck Mavji.
Capt. Mavji has over 25 years experience in Sailing / Travelling over the world, albeit in larger vessels. Foretop was conceived as he decided to transform this experience and knowledge of the sea and boats to the benefit and betterment of the boating industry in India.
The boating industry in India is in its nascent stages, and, in its present avatar, affordable by only a select few and super-rich clientele.
The un-availability of “Affordable and Good Quality” boats keeps this pleasurable activity out of the reach of many would-be Sailors / Boaters.
Our aim is to offer not just a speed-boat or day-cruiser or yacht to the people, we want them to enjoy their experience, teach them the correct and responsible way of boating and not have to drain their pockets in doing so.
Foretop boats commenced by exclusively marketing the DRAGO [GR] range of Boats / Cruisers / Yachts in India. Drago Boats SA is one of the most reputed boat manufacturers in Greece, with manufacture of approx 800 boats from its factory in Koropi, near Athens. No aspect of the production-line is outsourced – everything is produced / manufactured within its factory, right from the hull and decking upto the Stainless Steel Railings / Fittings / Fuel tanks and even the upholstery. This gives it the advantage of meeting the delivery schedules and achieving its Quality Control within a single organization with minimal likelihood of failures.
In 2010, to cater to the requirements of the industry, Foretop introduced the Dubai Marine brand into India. Dubai Marine is a prominent boat and Yacht builder with their factory located in Sharjah. Established in 1993, under the shelter and supervision of the Al Shaali family, it is a distinguished boat building factory, proficient in its technology and lavish in its outfitting and design. The Dubai Marine yachts are noted for their bouquet of style and beauty.
In 2011 we realized that we have to bridge the gap between the boats offered by the above two brands and thus our introduction to Faeton.
Faeton group have more than 30 years experience and are now the biggest boat builders in Spain in boats between 23 and 40 feet.
Boats built by Faeton are for the enthusiast, with exciting styling and finishes amongst the range of Sport Cruisers and Sport Fishing boats of the Scape and Moraga series.
As part of the Astondoa group, Faeton is a thoroughly professionally managed company, they have gained the deserved reputation of having the best hulls for navigating in adverse sea conditions.
Thus, our portfolio is now complete, with the ability to offer you an entire range of boats/cruisers/yachts from 5 mtr to 25 mtr to suit any usage and all budgets.
Foretop Boats will assist you in making the right choice of boat, choosing the correct engine-option to suit your requirements and handle all the formalities in delivering the boat to you. Our commitment and our association with you does not end with the delivery of the boat to the customer. We will maintain the Boat, Carry out routine maintenance and Service Requirements, Cleaning and House-Keeping, Re-Fuelling, Anti-Fouling, and Monsoon Storage for your precious new baby.
